Game Sense: International perspectives:  Call for submissions

All participants who are presenting at the 2019 Game Sense for Teaching and Coaching conference are invited to submit chapters for inclusion in a book edited by Professor Richard Light (University of Canterbury) and Dr Christina Curry (Western Sydney University).

Game Sense: International perspectives will comprise 22 x 3,500-word chapters on any aspects of Game Sense and we encourage chapters that deal with the influence of cultural, social and institutional settings. The convening of the conference in Japan provides an ideal opportunity to learn about how game Sense is interpreted and used in Asian settings and others removed from Australia where it was developed. Participants interested in submitting a chapter for consideration should send their 3,500-word manuscript to Richard.light@canterbury.ac.nz. Please ensure that the submission focuses on Game Sense and that the standard of expression, organisation, grammar and punctuation is of a high standard (in English).

We ask you to adopt formatting and referencing as used by Routledge when submitting your chapter. It should be of 3200 - 3800 words (including the reference list) with the author(s) name(s) and affiliations. You are welcome to submit your chapter any time before the conference or after it but we would like submissions made by 7th February 2020. We have invited some well-established authors working on Game Sense to ensure we publish a book of the highest standards and look forward to receiving chapters of the same high standard from participants at the conference that will reflect its diversity and excellence.
